Blue Dot — 30-second reaction drill

Tap the blue dot. Skip the red. One of the simplest reaction-time games for ADHD adults.

Blue Dot is a 30-second reaction-time drill. A blue dot appears at a random position on a square stage. Tap it. Red dots also appear — ignore them. After 30 seconds you see your hits, average reaction time, and misses. Then we offer a Transfer Bridge: pick one real task and do 5 minutes of it.

How the drill works

  1. Tap the stage to start

Press "Start 30s session" and the stage becomes active. The first dot appears within ~600ms.

  2. Tap blue dots, skip red

Blue dots award +1 hit and disappear. Red dots cost +1 miss if tapped — but ignoring them is fine.

  3. Read your average reaction time

After each hit the HUD updates with your mean reaction time. Pause anytime; the clock freezes.

  4. Finish with a Transfer Bridge

When the 30s ends, type one real task you'll work on for the next 5 minutes. Saved locally.

FAQ

Does Blue Dot actually help ADHD focus?
Blue Dot itself is a reaction-time game — modest transfer to real focus. The transfer comes from the bridge step: after 30s of tapping, you sit down and do 5 minutes of real work. That pairing is the product.
Will it frustrate me if I miss blue dots?
No. There's no timer pressure, no streak, no shame. The score is for you alone — we never compare you to other users.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. Blue Dot runs in any modern browser. Touch targets are 56px and the stage respects safe-area insets.
